Christine Feehan weaves a tale of heartbreaking tragedy and the overwhelming healing power of love, mixes it with a pinch of suspense and mystery, and sprinkles the whole with the magic of Christmas. Maia, Cole and Jase are well-developed three-dimensional characters who tug at the heartstrings. The relationship that develops between Cole and Maia is romantic and touching. Equally moving is the relationship that Jase and Cole are trying to build. Despite pasts that nearly destroyed them, both are strong, caring individuals, and the vulnerability of each will steal the reader's heart.

A tale of redemption, second chances, and the magical power of love, Rocky Mountain Miracle is a must read for this holiday season.

Rocky Mountain Miracle by Christine Feehan is brilliant! Never have I read such an emotionally charged short story. Cole and Jase have been beaten, tortured, and tormented by their own father. The impact this had on their lives is vividly implied throughout the entire book. Not once can readers forget that they have suffered something horrible and are trying to overcome that. Mia is a breath of fresh air. Ms. Feehan writes her so well, that while reading, I felt better with her on the scene. Cole, Mia and Jase have a three-way connection. Unable to be a Christine Feehan book and not have a paranormal element, the touch of paranormal in this story was surprising and therefore enriched this book even more. Also being a Christine Feehan story there is a love that transcends logic and a passion that is will leave readers fanning themselves. Bravo to Ms. Feehan. Rocky Mountain Miracle is a truly remarkable story! 5 Angels!

Feehan has a way with words that puts the reader right beside the characters, seemingly eavesdropping on the conversation. Intricately woven, her characters interact so realistically and, on more than one occasion, my heart pulsed along with theirs. Metaphors are abundant – the characters and events can be analyzed long after the final page of Shadows of Christmas Past has been turned.

Tales of love all found around the joyous season of Christmas with two awesome stories in one great book that is sure to bring the season of Christmas in with a bang.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN MIRACLE tells the story of two brothers fighting to get over their terrible childhood and the woman who helps them to find each other and the ability to love. Maia is a vet that never stays in one place to long and Cole is the man with a horrible past. Together can they get over the trauma of the past and move on to make a future?

A TOUCH OF HARRY is a great werewolf story of how things can go wrong, but love can be found even in the worst situations. Harry is a werewolf, but he’s also a private investigator who’s working on a case. When he meets Marj his life is forever changed. Marj is a vet who loves helping animals and lately some strange occurrences has been happening to her that she can’t explain; maybe Harry can help her clear things up.

THE SHADOWS OF CHRISTMAS PAST is a great duet of two authors that combine common characteristics. Christmas is one of the common themes and makes the perfect background for the tales of love found when you least expect it. Christine Feehan and Susan Sizemore have done an excellent job and this book is perfect for the holiday season.
