All I can say is, WOW.
It makes me dread reading other books now cause I know the leading
man will not be a carpathian male. Others at work always ask what
we are reading, and we have to get them started reading with a
dark book !
It hooks them every time.
I think Gregori is my personal favorite, with Lucian coming in
a very close second.
Thanks for writing such complelling stories that really draw you
in to their world. Your family must be very proud !
I always look forward to your next book !

Ms Feehan..I wanted to tell you that I am such a fan of yours.
I was captivated with your stories of the carpathian race. I was
wondering if you've been approached by anyone associated with
the making of movies? You should definitly consider writing a
script. I think it would make a perfect movie and I'm sure me
as well as your many fans would go to see it. Thank you for writing
such interesting and imaginative stories.

Dear Christine,
First let me say, I LOVE your books! I teach high school and one
of my favorite students is graduating in May. I've gotten her
hooked on your books--her favorite is DARK FIRE. I purchased a
copy for her as a grad. gift, then thought it would make it more
special if it could be autographed by you. Is it possible for
you to do that? (And have it back before May 20th?!)

Hello,
I love your dark series and have read almost everyone since I
started on them last week. I was wandering if Demetri (spelled
wrong) who is mentioned in dark challenge has a book. I wondered
because Skyler seemed to connect with the stuffed wolf that was
given to her. He is not listed on any of the family trees so,
how is he tied in with the rest? Thank you for your time.

Hello Christine,
I discovered your series at the end of February (Dark Symphony).
I soon ordered all of the Dark Series and have read them all!
What I am most amazed about is that while I'm reading each story
I'm thinking to myself this is my favorite but then I go on to
the next and that becomes my favorite :) I just finished Dark
Fire and I am madly in love with Darius! Even though all of the
men seem so gorgeous, I am so drawn to Darius' character. I can't
wait for Dark Melody, when the reunion takes place with Gregori
and his long lost siblings Darius and Desari. Christine you are
so amazing and I am forever a fan!

Christine,
I just wanted to tell you how much I love your books. I write
fiction and have written vampire and spirit short stories but
for about the last 15-20 years I have wanted to write a book about
the supernatural wonder of the powers of the vampire without the
evilness. A friend suggested to read one of your books. I started
with Dark Prince and have read each one since. Thank you so much
for all the hours of enjoyment. You have given me the courage
to possibly attempt my story. I don't know. We'll see. Sometimes
the characters just won't leave me alone (they invade my dreams
and such) and it is almost getting to that point for Shakara and
Calina (the heriones in my vampire story-not really vampire but
half-vampire I guess). Keep writting the series and I will keep
buying them. Again thank you.

I am sooo mad at you. I read the Ghostwalker preview at the end
of Dark Symphony, and all that made me do was want to read the
book. You know, the book I can't read until atleast September.
That's six months away. That's an entire half a month. Say it
ain't so! Can you be in love with a book that's not out yet...
lol...Can you be in love with a book? Anyway, even though you're
making me wait, you're still on my tops list, which by the way
I only put someone on when they take me into a great experience
and back again. Some take you on a trip and it's fun and all,
but all they get is a smile. Some take you on a shopping spree,
which makes you want to buy another one of their books and then
there's authors like Catherine Coulter, Amanda Quick, Johanna
Lindsay, Iris Johasen, Dara Joy, Judith McNaught, Teresa Medieres,
Shannon Drake, Andrea Kane, and Jude Devereau (this is my top
ten list), that take you on an experience and back. Now they not
only make you smile and make you want to go out and buy their
next book, but they also make you want to read the old one's over
and over again. That's very economic of them, isn't it? Anyway,
just so that you know, you have made my top 10...my top 11. I
can't get rid of anyone on the list because, I can still reread
them... again. If I had a medal, I would give you one, but I don't
because I'm po' because I spend all my extra cash on romance novels,
or as I tell my friends at work when they say I'm reading "smut",
"historical smut". My sister told me I should read Sista Soldier
or Terry McMillan and while I think they are very talented in
a world where we might need cultural balance, who wants to read
about women who are mad at their family, their man, or the world...everyday...for
the rest of their days. I can depress myself if it's that important
to me. Anyway, I love you books and your style. I got my friends
hooked on "Sex and the City" and anime. Maybe, I can push a little
of the obsession your way. :)

Dominic of the Dragonseeker line very soon. His brief intorduction
rescuing Byron was just enough of a temptation to leave me dying

I have read everything you have written thus far. I absolutely
love how you spin a yarn. If I start one of your books during
my commute home-I don't quit until I've finished it. I have read
your "Dark" series at least 4 times in it's entirety. Every time
I pick up the latest in the series, I start the entire series
all over just to keep track of the various characters.
Thanks for connecting the Scarletti family with the Carpathians.
Although, I am a bit confused. When I read Fantasy, I thought
those characters were the decendants of the original Jaguar people.
Although as I write this some of what I am thinking is becoming
clearer. If the original males left their women on their own I
guess a specific branch could have become intertwined with the
Scarletti family and that is where the telepathic ability came
from. But, if the idea of the Don selecting his bride from the
villago is based on continuing the gifts of the Jaguar women within
the Scarletti line; why did not the original Scarletti Curse allude
to that?
At any rate, I love anything with your name on it. I pre-order
every book as soon as the release date is published just so I
don't miss one. Thank you for Dayan's story. At the end of Dark
Desire I really felt sorry for him being the only member of the
band without a lifemate. I am looking forward to the reunion of
the band as well as other members of their far flung family and
ancestors. Oh yeah, before I end this message. Please write a
story for Skyler. I cried so hard for her during Gabriel and Francesca's
story. Skyler needs some happiness and life mate who works with
wolves (hint hint).
Thanks again for a wonderful escape into the world of Carpathains.

Bravo to you. After reading just some of the entries in your guestbook
I have to agree with your other fans please do not quit writing

you introduce I can see a new book on the horizen. It would be
great also if you could give us (your fans) some more background
on Prince Vllad, the dragonslayers, the wizards and the jaguar
people. How did the jaguar people become extinct? was it due to

are the lyrics:
EVANESCENCE
how can you see into my eyes like open doors,
leading you down into my core, where i've become so numb.
without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold,
until you find it there and lead it back home.
[wake me up]
wake me up inside,
[can't wake up]
wake me up inside,
[save me]
call my name and save me from the dark.
[wake me up]
bid my blood to run,
[can't wake up]
before i come undone.
save me from the nothing i've become.
now that i know what i'm without,
you can't just leave me.
breathe into me and make me real.
bring me to life.
[wake me up]
wake me up inside,
[can't wake up]
wake me up inside,
[save me]
call my name and save me from the dark.
[wake me up]
bid my blood to run,
[can't wake up]
before i come undone.
save me from the nothing i've become.
bring me to life.
[i've been living a lie.
there's nothing inside.]
bring me to life.
frozen inside without your touch,
without your love, darling,
only you are the life among the dead.
all this time, i can't believe i couldn't see,
kept in the dark, but you were there in front of me.
i've been sleeping a thousand years it seems.
got to open my eyes to everything.
without a thought, without a voice, without a soul,
don't let me die here.
there must be something more,
bring me to life.
[wake me up]
wake me up inside,
[can't wake up]
wake me up inside,
[save me]
call my name and save me from the dark.
[wake me up]
bid my blood to run,
[can't wake up]
before i come undone.
save me from the nothing i've become.
bring me to life.
[i've been living a lie.
there's nothing inside.]
bring me to life.

Dear Christine,
I love your carpathian and
gothic books but the carpathian books are definatly my favorites
I seem to finish them off in no time and need to find the next
book. You have a wonderful imagination, I have always loved all
kinds of romance novels but there is something fun in reading
them with the twist you have added I have always been fascinated
by vampires but your books show a hole new intresting side with
a hole race of people that are good and decent that have definatly
met there match with the women you pair them up with. Please keep
writing them it like your favorite T.V. series you just don't
want it to end I hope you have plenty of ideas for this group
of supernatural men and women to keep them going for a long time
because this is one fan who wants to keep reading about them.

Miss Feehan;
It has been a pleasure and a real treat reading all your books.
The characters are both demanding and considerate of their lifemates.
I enjoy the circumstances and characters that reappear, it is
like a closing of one door and the opening of more likeable characters.
Have you ever thought about a female Carpathian meeting her destiny
with a male human/psychic? I just finished re-reading Dark Symphony
4 times. All my books are keepers. Someday I hope to see your
books become films or movies for television. Please keep up the
excellently written books!

I have a very hard time waiting until the next one come out. The
reason why I enjoy them is because with all there powers over

human race. Thanks for your imagination that makes these books
possible.

Dear Ms. Feehan,
I have read all of your books and just finished reading Dark Symphony.
My question has to do with Dominic, at the beginning of Dark Symphony
you provided a dark family tree of sorts and I had remembered
that Dominic was mentioned in the first couple of "Dark" books,
and I was afraid that you had forgotten about him, but after reading
Symphony I was so happy that he was still fighting vampires and
not one himself. Why wasn't he in the family tree?? Is he, along
with his sister going to die?? I hope he finds his lifemate before
its too late!!
Please don't forget about him-
Thank you so much for telling the Carpathians story, along with
all your other beautiful storys of shape-shifters and goths. I
wish you could pop their stories out every month. every week even,
i have enjoyed reading everything you have written so far and

I hate to do this, because I know the talent and intellect required
in writting, but I must. Dark Symphony was awful. The only redeeming
quality was Byron. The plot was too convaluted, there were too
many things going on in the story. In the past you have always
stood firm in your belief that you wanted to give every Carpathian
character their own story and just highlight the other characters
that we all know and love. That was not done in this book.
I was sick unto death of reading about the problems of that family,
it took away form Byron and Tony's strengths. The love story building
between them was never allowed to develope, they just came together.
I enjoyed the story of his nephew and sister more than anything
besides sallivating over the story to be told of the other acnient
that was sent out by Vlad.
The story and plot were weak becuase you atempted to do too much.
Maybe that was your editor or publishers talking, I do not know.
However, I do know if they do not allow you to write in the manner
your readers are acustomed you will no longer enjoy the following
that you have. What really chaps me is that I felt like I was
reading a Maggie Shayne novel, all charter and no cohesion.

Prince all the way to Dark Symphony, I think I must have read
through each book in a couple days or even less because I'm so
addicted I cant put them down! I am a little confused about the
"anthology" stories you have written I assume in other books,
I would love it if you could explain what an anthology is so I
can go out and buy those too! All in all I am a huge fan and I
am just counting the days before you release your next book.
Yours Truly, Wendy

Christine, I have fallen in love with your Dark Series. I have
read them all and look forward to the next. I have read the Scarletti
Curse and loved it, as well. Thank you for your books, I will
read Lair of the Lion on the plane next week and become lost in
your wonderful fantasies, and not have to think about the realities
of flying from Texas to Boston

Dear MS Feehan,
I would have to say thank you to Stefan for his face was the reason
I started reading your books. I have started collecting them since
I read Dark Guardian. I can seem to put them down. I don't think
you can ever write them as fast as I go through them. They are
so exciting to me I always look for the next one so I can start
another one. I hope you never stop writing. I wish there was a
way to meet you and Stefan. Sincerely yours,
Susan Holmes
