I've just started reading dark series and I found them to be absolutely mind-blowing and breath-taking. I haven't finish reading all her books and I can't find some of her books in my country. I'm waiting for Dark Symphony, Dark Destiny, Dark Melody and Dark Dream After Twilight. I really can't wait I want to read them now but I can't.
Does anyone have these titles if so perhaps you can help me purchase them or just tell me where I can find them. Thanks and thank you so much Christine Feehan for creating such extraordinary books.

Lair of the Lion was a great book. I just finished it. I must honestly tell you that I had a very difficult time putting it down. I had to find out about the DeMarco secret. Love It !! Keep Up the Great Job.

Wanted to say thank youfor the writing, and for both intensity and humour in your non-human characters which almost seem to actually point out he best in humanity.
Question: Do suppose that some of your lovely/interesting male human accomplices might finally be turned and themselves a mate? must be hard for them helping but being outside of who the aid.

Dear Ms. Feehan,
First of all - I am a huge fan. I own every one of your previous books, including all your anthologies. But Lair of the Lion was a huge disappontment. There were a few major problems but most of all was the ultimate humilation and betrayal of trust between the Nicoli and Isabel. When he withdrew from the marriage agreement to offer her the humilation of mistress status and the news he would take another bride immediately after their first time, left me angry and betrayed as a reader and true fan of your work. I actually could not believe you would put that horrible scene in your wonderful books. I was hugely disappointed and frankly it ruined the remainder of the book for me. I also did not like a couple of other things. In all your other books there is always a certain "looking after" the hero does for the herione. I did not like the suffering she endured in getting through the pass when it seemed he was aware of her distress and danger but did not aid her. Last of all, I really wanted more development between Francesca and her brother. It seemed like it was going somewhere but then it was dropped. Perhaps this is for a later book. But the ending of this book was a little cold dry and incomplete for me. No epilogue, just a call to "get the priest" was not enough. I really kept wishing she would get away from the jerk all the way to the end. Again, I am a huge fan and will continue to collect your work but I hope this direction was a one time occurance. I have many many of my friends also now collecting your work, keep on writing I am looking forward to Dark Symphony.
By the way "Dark Magic" was hilarious and my favoriate by far. I have read it several times and it was great and cracks me up. She was just what the stuffy big bad Gregori needed. Makes me smile everytime I think about it.

It all started in Junior High School Mam'. it was great. my sister's friend Monica had your book.she would sit everyday during lunch time reading your book(s) and she would always have a different expression on her face. she called me over once, and told me to read a a section in your book Dark Prince. The cover on Dark Desire, the new one, first attracted me to your books. Whithin 2 months I bought the 9 books of the whole Dark series. That's how quickly I got hooked. Man oh man, what a delicious mind you've got, can't wait for March.

I just started the series this year in Oct and I'm hooked. I never liked blood drinking stories before but your novels make it seem all the more natural. I'm a big fan for characterization and you've really made them alive for me. You're a very talented writer. What would happen if a Carpathian didn't find their lifemate until they were the undead? I am an avid reader and my favorites have always been gothic, medieval, and historical romance paperbacks; until I read the first of the "Dark" (or "Carpathian") Series. Now I am HOOKED and have already read the first 8 of the Dark series, The Scarletti Curse, and Lair of the Lion. I am absolutely hooked on your books and am praying that you keep on writing more, especially in the Dark series. I can't wait until the next one comes out!! The only thing I wish you would add is what happens to each couple as far as do they have children, especially girls! These books are great on their own, but are best when read in order because you become a part of the "family" and I love that about these books. Please, please, please keep writing!!!!

I love this website....Each time I get online I go on here and read the first chapters, etc of Feehans books, making me yearn for more of her stories. She is one of the most intriging, brillant authors in this category of romance I have ever read. I adore the heroines and their courage to stand up to their carpathian mates and each story embodies everything that captures me into romance,mystery, and gothic...I can't wait for Dark Symphony to come out and I enjoy seeing the other books that Feehan is in the process of producing. As an imaginative writer, who has never been confident enough to publish her own stuff (it's along the same lines - Anita Blake, Dark Series, etc. Vampires, Werewolves, etc.), I just want to say that I love reading your books. It is wonderful to be sucked into your steamy world. I am avidly waiting for the continuation of your story that I feel that you began in the Fantasy Anthology. I am a big fan of your Dark series. I have read all of your Dark series books at least three times. I cannot wait for the next book to come out. On Amazon.com I have put my name on the "Waiting to purchase" list. I just finished reading the Sacrament and enjoyed it.
Is it just a fluke that her male character was a carpathian or did the author have to get special permission to use that?
Well I just wanted to let you know that We fans Know that you probably want to move on to other types of books but we really are going to miss the carpths. When the last book is written in the series
we will still be enjoying the Dark series in our libraries.

Howdi, I'm an avid romance reader & I love your stories. I had the Lair of the Lion reserved at the bookshop & when they phoned to say it had come in, I picked it up in just under 2 hours. I really enjoy your writing. Your Dark series is nothing less than incredible. There's nothing better that I rather be doing than curling up in front of the fire or in bed with one of your books. (Don't tell the husband) Unfortunately because of how much I love reading your books I finish them the same day. I've re-read all of them a number of times & they're still fantastic.
I first picked up Dark Prince about a year ago thinking it was another romance novel with a bit of added spice to it - little did I know! That was the end of me. isn't it amazing how you have written books with the 'normal' language... unlike other 'vampire' stories I have read you need a dictionary in hand to be sure on the meaning..
your books have been great & easy to read, most of the time when the books on the last few pages I keep thinking "damn! that's it?, its finish?"...

I love reading your books. I never thought I would like any kind of books about vampires, but I confess I love yours. I have read other authors' books about vampires and shape shifting, but some how they just don't appeal to me like yours does!!!. I have two quick questions for you.
1. The brand, mark left on the neck or other parts of the body by the Carpathian males--what do they look like? Are they a specific marking and design or just sort of like a birthmark.

I read the Dark Series earlier this year, so I find it humorous, at least to me, to see Dark Challenge in a movie. I was watching Kate and Leopold the other night, and Kate's assistant was reading it. I would really appreciate them if you could maybe have some main characters that were---well---maybe not so perfect---human's just aren't as beautiful as Carpathians are. How about a middle-aged woman, or an much older woman---a different race. I just know that most romance writers write about young, thin, attractive girls and not real women. The Carpathian men are so great it seems to me that they would be drawn to the uniqueness of human women.

For me the appeal is related to the fact that I'm married to an arrogant CEO who is, deep down, a kind and generous man (when he isn't on his cell phone or giving me orders). This year, as a spiritual focus I chose to expand my ability to express compassion. I have done much reading and praying on the subject, but when it comes to compassion for 'dark' males, I use your many heroines as role models. Hi Christine, I just wanted to say again how much I love your books. I absolutely love the Dark Series and bacause of you I can actually read gothics. I have read and loved The Scarletti Curse and the Lair of the Lion. I am having a bit of trouble getting "A Very Gothic Christmas" though. I am hoping that Santa will find and get for me this year. I do so want to read it. I am also waiting not so patiently for the next few Dark books. Since you were kind enough to put up a nifty little synopsis of each. I now don't want to wait anymore. Christine, I just wanted to stop by and tell you how fantastic I find your books. My mother was having surgery, and I was worried and anxious during the 4 hour wait, so I went to the gift shop and found "Dark Fire". Which is kind of funny finding a Vampire book in a strict catholic hospital :). But, I was blown away by your book, not only did it take my mind off of her surgery, but it also kept me so interested in it that I read the whole book at night while she slept. After that, within 5 weeks I bought all the books from "Dark Prince" to "Dark Guardian". Loved everyone of them, "Dark Fire" is still my favorite among them, but I loved them all. You have the ability to put down your great ideas into a story and make it into an awesome book, I only wish I was as talented as you are! I was wondering how you keep track of your ideas? I find I get great ideas in the strangest moments and I never am able to write them out because by the time I get to write them out, i've forgotten the best parts of my idea! Madam, i take off my hat to you. I am a beginning writer, and I often find myself distracted by your books as I try to write my stories. They are absolutely wonderful, even though I only have two of them so far. I plan on a complete set as soon as I have the money.
I discovered your books quite by accident. I was on a family trip to the cottage in the summer, and we stopped at a little bookstore in a tiny town in northern Ontario. As I poked through the romance section, I saw the cover of Dark Guardian. I regret to admit, that when I saw the cheesy picture I laughed, and then I read the back.
The instant my eyes saw the words "ran with the wolves.." I knew I had to buy it, and damned to the snickers of the other customers around me, which turned out to be a bit tricky, but I did it.
I read it in the car, and brought my things into the cottage and still hadn't taken my eyes from the pages. I stayed up the entire night reading it, stopping only once to use the lavatory before picking up where i had left off.
I have since read Dark Challenge, which I also stayed up all night for. Boy, it was worth it. Again, I salute you, and I use your books to get ideas for some of my own stories. (But none of them are half as good as yours, yet)

I was already a dedicated Dark Series fan when I bought a copy of Lair of the Lion. In one night I read the entire book and long after I was done I still had a smile on my face. The character Isabella reminded me so much of myself. Her wit,her rebellious streak, her will and her courage. Those are exactly the characteristics that I possess. Nicolai was the perfect match for such a witty, strong woman. ::sigh:: That is exactly the type of man I've been searching for. Christine, you did such a wonderful job of creating a woman who is far from a damsel in distress. Please keep developing characters that represent true women. Every women loves reading a book that almost seems to be about them. I know I did.

I just have to say that I have never written a fan letter to anyone ever, I am not that type of person. But I must say I could not resist.
I have been reading romance books, ever since I was a teenager, of course they were just Harlequin romance stories, now as an adult I still can't resist a good love story and a happy ending. But for a while now, I had been starting to get a little bored with your typical love story, I prefer historical over anything else actually, but even that was getting a little boring. I kind of stopped reading for awhile and one night I watched the movie, "Interview with a vampire" and I was like I wonder if there are any romance books out there like that. So, I walked into Borders book store and looked in the romance paranormal section and there where your books. I was like no way, so to make a long story short, I am so hooked with your dark series, I mean your books are totally awesome, I think I have read everybook in your series and I need more!!!(I sound like an addict,right!! Ha,Ha!!) I guess I am, a dark series addict, that is! I have never read anything like your books before, they are so perfect in every way, I can't put your books down once I start reading them and if I have to, I do so with regret.

I know that I have written to you before about a book signing here in Tenn. And I read your listing on where you're going to be, but please try and come out this way. I really enjoy reading your stories. However, I noted in Dark Guardian and Dark Legend the when Gabriel and Lucian claim their lifemates, as in your other books, they do not leave a small mark. I always thought this was rather intimate and poetic. Was this a error of omittance?

It has been quite awhile since I have left a message, tho i visit here weekly. The amount of entries is immense,,which is great. The first time I entered the questbook, it was on @ page 2. Now the pages go by years. It says alot for the person to attend to "their own" business. This site is always updated and very informative. The frequent mention of various family members, tells of love and support all ways round. That also says alot of the person. That "person" being of course Christine Feehan. Can someone please tell me why fear is so stimulating and erotic?? I recently finished Dark Guardian and the scene where Lucian comes stryding into the house and almost drags Jax with him into the den and she is basicly in fear of her life (even though she knows he won't really hurt her)it totaly did a number on me. I dont think my husband knew what hit him lol. I may be crazy, but the fear and the danger are a real turn on for me, I wish my husband would read these books with me. I live in what is considered the Bible belt of the USA. Science fiction/fantasy and paranormal have been a little slower to catch up to us than in other parts of the country, I suppose. I must say, however, that you are by far one of the best selling authors we have in our book store. I work at Red House Bookstore in Dothan, AL, where we sell new and used books. We have a very hard time keeping your books in stock, whether new or used, but especially used.
I myself have read almost all of your books. I have in fact read ALL of the Dark series books, not just once but some twice and others three times over the span of about a year and a half. I have NEVER enjoyed a series of books as much as I have these, and eagerly await the arrival of each new book. I, too, was one of those readers who had never read anything with vampires or anything even close. I really didn't expect to enjoy them at all. But I have very much. I applaud your originality, your skill, and your talent. Keep up the good work, or should I say writing!!!

First, I would like to point out before I begin that I have NEVER written to any author of all the books that I have read in my life. I came across your book about 2 months back, and have been ensared in your world since. I have all of the dark series and have reread each one more than twice. It has come to the point that I have packed them up and put them away, so that I will read the other books I get by other authors. However, just when I thought I was safe, I walked into Barnes and Noble and discovered more books by you. I am glad to see that you plan to continue writing more Dark Series books. I thoroughly enjoy how you tie the characters together. I have always enjoyed reading about characters from previous books and see how their lives developed. The only downside to reading your books, is coming back to the reality of real life after reading your books. I wish the world had the Carpathians and that I had a lifemate out there somewhere. And if I ever do find a lifemate, I want to use the binding words in my ceremony. I wish you and yours peace.
P.S. Are you sure you don't put a compulsion in the pages so that we want to read and reread your work?

Boy! It was my lucky day. I fell in love with the book and have since then tried to track down the rest of the Dark series. Unfortunately, Booksellers over here don't seem to sell your books. I'm that desperate I went to ebay to try and see if someone was auctioning any of your books. No such luck. Anyway they are fabulous. When you open and start reading it's like being swept away into an entirely new world. Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed Lair of the Lion. I could not put it down! This is the first book of yours that I have read and I look forward to reading them all!! I was visiting my local library 2 weeks ago and came across "Lair of the Lion", little did I know that I would be entering upon an exciting journey into another world. Since, then I have read Dark Legend and Dark Fire, two books that I have fallen absolutely in love with. I didn't have a clue that there could conceivabley be a writer who could capture the dark world with such flair and success. Your writing captures the imagination and fills the reader with a burning need to know everything about the carpathians they become acquainted with. I am now searching out all of the other books in the Dark Series and am in high hopes of finding them soon and owning them forever. Was it luck or a calling that made me pick up that book that day?I'm not sure but I'm extremely happy that I did.

A patient recommended Dark Prince to me a month ago even though I told her I was not interested in "vampire" stories. She assured me that I would LOVE this book. She brought me her copy the next day. I got home at 1am from work and started to read the book in the bathtub. 3 hours later I was still in the cooling bathwater (having added more hot water over and over) because I couldn't put it down til I finished it! The BEST book (and series) I've ever read and having found your website, I am thrilled to find out there will be plenty more to come. After reading that first book, within 3 days I had all the rest of them and within a week had read them all. I am now in the process of "addicting" my friends to them as well. My husband just rolls his eyes when he sees them. Thank you so much for the wonderful escapes you provide thru your books. The movie is Kate and Leopold, In the scene where Kate's secretary is crying at the end of a book. She holds it up and you see the cover for a second. Well it looked familiar. It was, I was on Dark Challange at the time and that is what she was holding up. They did not read the book or they would have known that the hero did not spend time on a deserted island. Well anyway I just wanted to let you know I spotted it. It did take about 10 times rewinding and comparing my cover to the TV over and over but it is it for sure.
I am looking forward to the next additions to the Dark Series. Right now I am on the Awakening in Fantasy.

I'm sure you get alot of fan mail, but for some reason I feel I MUST thank you for your books.
My husband and I have been together off/on since we were 14 yrs. old. Over the summer though, I thought after 14 yrs. of marriage we were finally through. By some divine intervention, a stranger recommended your book "Dark Guardian" while we were on vacation this summer. I read the entire book on the drive home from Florida. It opened my eyes to not only what I was about to give up but also shed a different light on my husband that I hadn't seen before. I have read all of the Dark Series and Lair of the Lion. I plan to soon get the Scarletti Curse. Your writing style catches me from page one. The bleak existence of the Carpathian males is moving. I hope to see one day the solution for the survival of the Carpathian children. Diluted wolf milk may be a first step. (Dark Magic) Maybe since the children do not drink blood then may a non meat eating animal may be an answer. In Russia I heard something about horse milk being used for infants. Maybe you can use this.
Just an idea. Maybe it would give you some ideas. Like you really need any. Your books are truely wonderful. May your Dark Series thrive. Maybe even to the point of one day being able to bring light and colors to all Capathian Males. The connecting points of each are an added plus.

Dear Chistine, I have to be honest, before I read 'Dark Prince' I wouldn't read a 'vampire' novel (the blood thing). My niece offered to let me read her series before she loaned them to her mother-in-law and I turned them down, Needless to say I got bored and read 'Dark Prince' later during the week while visiting her and I was addicted. The rest of the series up to 'Dark Magic' was read out of sequence, so I had to read them again in order and have reread the entire series in order with every new book that has come out and enjoy as much each time as if I was reading them the first time. I have also enjoyed 'Scarletti Curse' and 'Lair of the Lion' as well.
I am glad that Byron is finally getting his story.
Thank you for countless hours of pleasure you have given me already and the hours I know are to come, because every book is better than the last!

Here's to you and your wonderfull books. To pick a favorite would be "almost" impossible. Ive read all your short stories as wee. But my favorite has to be "Lair of the Lion", it had everything you could want. Like Sergio said at the end they stopped an invasion,killed a rougue, ended a curse and detroyed the evil enity--I agree with about a follow up book. Also glad you brought back "The Scarlelli Curse" family, they have "Carpathian" blood some where way back-because of the mind reading of the bothers right? I wanted to send this message just to say how much my sisters and I really love the "Dark Series" and we can hardly wait to read what comes along next.
I also wanted to make a suggestion if that's okay. I was wondering if a poster was going to be made depicting all the Carpathian characters in a family photo type setting.
Of course I don't know much about vampire myth, but I'm hoping that Carpathians are different in that they are able to be seen in a photo.
Anyway, I believe that a poster of this sort would really hit the charts big time with all your fans of the Dark Series.

I read alot and never before had found a book that i wanted to keep reading the series till i read the dark series.it is a very vivid read. the people in it just come to life as you turn the pages. i have only 2 books in the series left to find then i will have them all. I even went out and bought a book shelf just for these books they are something that i would love to read again in hte future. that is a rare find for me i speed read every book i get my hands on after work each day i put my children to bed and while they sleep i sit on my porch and read you have gave me back the interest in reading again and slowing down to make the story last thank you so much im looking forward to any new books that you release in the future.

subject: Lair of the Lion and the Dark Series
I loved readiing Lair of the Lion. It is excellant and I hated it to end, as I have hated all your Dark Series books to end. You are a gifted writer, holding readers with just the right amount of intrigue, romance, and flair for the unusual in the men and women you create,
they become one's friends and allies. You want to hear from them from time to time just like you would your own family and friends. Please keep on writing the Dark Series, and maybe start a series with the Lair of the Lion. Lucca and Francesca need a story, too.
I hate to repeat what others have told you, but you are my favorite author and I know anytime I pick up one of your books it will be Great!
