I like many others started in the middle of the series. I had gotten my shipment of books and one night being unable to sleep I sat down to begin to read it. It did not take me long to fall in love with it and to learn this was not the first in the series. With great pains I put the book down and went out the next day to the book store to get the rest so that I could start out at the very begining. Only when I got there they did not have Dark Prince in. So I put it on order and made myself wait till it came in to being reading from begining to end. I was not suprised when I loved reading each and every book. I enjoyed them so much I even shared the stories with my husbend (who help me collect all of them to date). I was worried that you would end with Dark Gaurdian and I am truely glad to learn you are not. I look forward to each and every one that is to come. I can honestly say this is the best I have ever read. Keep up the good work!

I read Dark Fire because it sounded interesting and I just couldn't put it down. I found out that is was part of the "Dark Series" and had to find each and every one of them and start reading from the beginning. I was wondering if you could write a few books not necessarily about romance(although it is great!!) but more about the Carpathian people. For example tell us HOW Desari and her group got seperated from the mountains and how they survived, or HOW Julian got seduced by the vampire at an early age. I LOVE your stories. I find your method of writing fascinating and I'm so glad I stumbled onto the Dark series by accident. I normally don't like 'vampire' stories or anything set in a different time but your books are GREAT! Hi Christine, I LOVE your Dark Series. I stumbled upon Dark Guardian while looking for something to read in the hospital. IT WAS GREAT!!! I was hooked and have since purchased ALL your books! I am reading Fantasy. I wish that you would do a series like this for teens. I know my son and niece (12 years old) would enjoy this story line, but the sex is way too hot for them (I enjoy it however!! ha ha). Those of you who have read Lair of the Lion are sooooo lucky!! It is not even available here yet! Boo Hoo!!! I have it on order and am impatiently waiting. You should see if your books could be put onto cassette or cd for those of us who drive. I'm an avid fan of Cassie Edwards Native American Romance novels. As I was looking for her latest novel in the bookstore, I came across your Dark series. I picked up your latest (Dark Guardian)and the description of story sounded interesting. I loved it! I've already read Dark Legend also and I've bought the whole Dark series. I remember distinctly having no books to read on summer day and I picked up the Dark Gaurdian. I was hooked. Then I figure I want to read the rest of them so I buy the entire Dark series and read them within two weeks. That's how hooked I was. I've just finished the Scarletti Curse and now I am trying to get a Gothic Christmas. (Just a little fun fact: in the movie Kate&Leopold there is a scene with one of the characters reading Dark prince.)
Well any ways, as a Linda Howard book reader only, Feehan really got me hooked into her characters and stories. They seem like real people to me. It's amazing. Please keep on making books!!!

I just finished your latest book Lair of the Lion. I had to write to you, I'm speechless. I have always been a fan of yours, always waiting for your new books to come out. This has to be one of your best books, I love the dark series and I hope you continue with the series, but this was different, I could not put this book down, from the very first page to the last, not even hunger pains made me put this book down, I just had to finish it, but still I wanted it to continue. I even cried towards the end when Isabella threw her self at Nicolai when he was the beast. You have a true gift to give Isabella and Nicolai such life, I felt as if I was right there with them. You my friend are a true master and should be very proud. I hope you continue to write many more books, I for one will be counting the days untill they arrive at my local store. I have really enjoyed reading your books, when I go to the book stores I look for your books first and I do not take the time to read the synopsis I just pick it up automatically. I love all the books in the series, although Dark Challenge is my favorite. I am not a fan of romance novels but I will read one if it is well written. I just finished the Lair of the Lion. It was fantastic! Nicolai was just as sexy as the Carpathians, and they are my favorite. I begin reading Sunday (9/8) about 9pm and finally had to quite so I could get up for work this morning. Had about 2 chapter to go so I finished them up on break. I was hooked aftet the first page. Cant wait for whatever you have in store for your next book. I have read and reread all my Dark series until some of them are beginning to fall apart, especially Dark Prine, Dark Desire and Dark Fire. Those 3 guys are a super charged turnon, now I can add Nicolai to there group. Thanks for the great reads.

yesterday evening and I could not put it down.
It was an excellant book. This is one of your best
books. The character just seem to jump off the
pages and you can see what is happening in your
minds eye. I will recommend this book (just like
all of the others) to those who come in the
B. Dalton Bookstore in the Town Center Mall where
I work part-time. I have recommended your Dark
Series to about ten other ladies. And when they
come back to the store they are always asking me if
you've got anything else out yet. I've even gone
the extra mile and printed off your Upcoming Book
List from your Web Site and taken it to the store for
the people who I work with so that if people asked
when I'm not there they could answer any
questions. Some of the ladies have even asked if
you are going to do a book signing in the area.
Also, are any of your books going to be put on
audio CD unabridged? The reason I'm asking is
because at my first job we can listen to audios' and
I like listening to books on CD that are unabridged.

For all of my professional career first as a social worker working with abused children and then as a college professor teaching social workers, I have used reading materials to keep believing in the goodness of people. I have been reading "romance" books since I was twelve. I started off with Barbara Cartland and the #1 Harlquin.
