TIDBIT: Christine Feehan's Dark Series are known for their action packed scenes and paranormal elements. Many readers do not know, however, that Christine had to fight hard to keep action in her stories. In fact, over 100 pages of action scenes were removed from the original Dark Prince manuscript. Furthermore, Dark Desire which Christine wanted to call Dark Madness, was almost never published due to the violent nature of the first chapter of the book. Christine refused to re-write the first chapter of Dark Desire and after the sucess of Dark Prince the publishing house decided to print it as stands. |
